Reclaim Sunday!

Reclaim Sunday!

This began as a project for a course and a topic that has intrigued many.

Would you be willing and able to help expand the message to friends?

Can we bring the good news of the Gospel of Christ to the internet in an effort to reclaim Sunday's place in our culture?

1. Send your commitment to 'Reclaim Sunday' and

2. How you are willing to observe the day as holy.

For the last few years I have made an effort to only shop Monday-Saturday to free up Sunday for worship, volunteering, resting and spending time with friends.  As a Catholic the day holds a unique time to enable attendance at Mass.

May God bless this outreach!

I do appreciate your way of evangelization in this year of Faith. On the day of Lord, let us do those that foster our relation with him: mass, scripture reading

Studying in Jerusalem several years ago, I was very moved by the power the Sabbath has to reclaim and rejuvenate lives of believers, a time for complete rest.

Sunday is the most precious day of the week, time for reflection, Mass, family, and often religious studies, reflection, writing and ministry.

S. Augustine defines peace as the tranquility of order. Think of the peace in heart, home and society that can flow when 1st things (the things of God) are 1st!

My mind trys to race back to what I could be doing with my free time. Once I realized that bonding with others was productive, I found it easier and more fun.

On Sunday I try to spend time with family and friends after attending Mass at my parish and teaching religious education classes.

Sunday is the day of the Lord. Let us come to Him as a family specially on this day to celebrate him and share the joy with others present in the church
