God's Invitation

Imagine a day without any advertising,

A day where no one parks their car on your lawn and empties their trash in your children's sandbox.

24 hours devoid of anger and turmoil,

A day of complete silence, only enhanced by the sounds of nature.

When all acts are blessed, work is postponed and we are replete with gratitude

This day is Sunday.  God's gift to you.

By: Michael Cunningham

"God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work he had done in creation."  Genesis
