Reclaim Sunday Weekly Blog

November 20th, 2022

Happy Sunday!

As the Season of Advent begins next week there is a time to ask if we are in the Workshop with Christ?

Any wood workshop shows evidence of creation, repair, tools and sawdust.

A variety of sounds fill the air.

Mary must have been familiar too with the space.

It can be messy before the beauty of sandpaper smooths the wood to highlight the inner color of the grain.

As Christ the King has us in the Workshop for our souls, may we be found to encourage one another. His work is in progress with us, with one another. May our humble carpenter St. Joseph  and his Foster son teach us to work with our creative thoughts and hands to bring beauty from within to the world.

In the USA it will be Thanksgiving this week. As Catholics with the Eucharist every day is Thanksgiving.
