Fourteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time-July 3rd, 2022

Happy Sunday!

The Gospel is direct, truthful and a challenge this week. Take no money bag etc. How have we come to move into the acquisition of good even if for good reasons? If Christ stood in front of us today and said, 'Come follow me' would we up and go or rent a moving truck, visit family or hesitate? How did the additional 72 know to leave it all and Christ would provide? There are container stores and storage bins we have for things. Does our life state clearly, Christ alone is enough?

Pray for the US as the 4th of July is here, a country where freedom to worship is a true freedom. Jesus embolden us to follow you as we journey home to you.
