Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time-July 25th, 2021

Happy Sunday,

Sunday is the God-given day of refreshment.

It provides sacred time to worship in the Mass, gather and praise God for his enduring presence in our lives.

St. Joseph of Cupertino struggled with his studies and endured the scorn of many including those close to him. Tomorrow we recall Sts. Joachim and Anne who as a childless couple eventually were granted the gift of Mary, Star of the Sea as their own.  Often the road to sanctity is strewn with trial, and challenges. Take solace knowing the Lord has sent us on this mission.

This Sunday we implore God to strengthen us for the journey. Let us ask God to send grace to live in joyful hope, no matter the circumstance.

St. Anne and St. Joachim, pray for us.
