Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time, February 7th, 2021

Happy Sunday,

How has today brought you to the love of God? With whom did you extend care and compassion on this day of rest from the Lord?  How did you receive closeness from the Lord?  To extend God's love changes everything. He raises up those carrying weight of responsibilities, illness or caring for the world's needs. Do we see his closeness? Do we hear him speaking to us? He persists especially when thinned like the mother in law in today's Gospel.  He breaks in when evidence does not look promising. He changes life with a turn-around!  He always brings hope!  Those touched by his love always serve in gratitude.  If you come upon this 5th Week in Ordinary Time, know  your life is being poured forth in prayer to remove obstacles and light your path with the light of Christ's life.
