4th Sunday of Ordinary Time
Happy Sunday! The Psalm today ‘If today you hear his voice harden not your hearts’ speaks to us in the middle of winter in the US. Who melts our hardened hearts? Who will bring evergreen life to the cold frozen winter? How is this Sunday unlike any other Sunday? Someone pointed out something needing attention. Then what do we do? If no one else is there you become the herald. Having ‘received’ the message, hearing it, seeing the need highlighted it lies before us to respond. Now, in the moment certain tools and supplies were in need, but not nearby, so God asks us to innovate with the reason he has given us. Others began to see you respond as they too see the need. Sometimes the ‘call’ comes in little ways in the midst of winter. If today you hear his voice harden not your hearts. Peace!
