Second Sunday in Ordinary Time-January 17, 2021

Happy Sunday!

As we have together considered the legacy God left us in the Eucharist and in keeping Sunday as a day of rest it was with special interest to read about Samsung’s “Sabbath mode” on the new model refrigerators. Going to the website the feature assists those in keeping Sabbath and does not respond to input on the model’s control panel once set for 85 hours.  It does continue to cool food and freeze.  Interesting to contemplate.  How do we more fully attend to God and less respond to other input!  It was a first reading an appliance Manual with a Holy interest. May all men and women of faith continue to care for one another and this world.  May your Sunday “mode” for the hours you are able be restorative.
