First Sunday of Advent-November 29th, 2020
Happy Sunday! In this season of Advent we are moving forward while also waiting. The seed is later the blossom. The word is later the promise. The prayer is later the reality. What we are is not yet who we will be. Mary set out in haste while waiting for Christ’s birth. Elizabeth met Mary and felt the leap of John the Baptist within her to hear Mary utter the Magnificat. The inn keeper offers a most unlikely home to a Holy Family in need not knowing the little he offered was enough to behold the Lamb of God! Unusual parts do not constitute the whole. God is unfolding his plan to save the world in Jesus Christ thru the Holy Spirit. In the midst of a global pandemic hold fast to the truth that he is with us and is on his way once more to take us home. Come! Let us welcome into our lives the hope that eternal love is on his way to you! Peace!
