Twenty Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time-October 4th, 2020
Happy Sunday! Today is the feast of Saint Francis who was from Assisi, Italy as was his life’s spiritual friend St. Clare. Francis left the world to live more fully with God to carry out the repair of the church. May all Franciscans be strengthened in faith. For us May a humble heart be ours to love those of all beliefs or those with no faith. For in those we encounter, we see the image of God. This Sunday utter a prayer for Pope Francis who upon his acceptance to the chair of Peter elevated with him the world’s poor by name and action. We are all poor in one way or another for in this emptying we find more alive in us the will of God who came to save everyone from all that keeps them from total union with him. We continue to pray for all impacted by the Coronavirus. St. Francis, pray for us. Peace!
