Twenty First Sunday in Ordinary Time-August 23rd, 2020
Happy Sunday! The gates of hell shall not prevail over the church! We hear of the importance of the primacy of Peter as Pope and his successors. Let us pray for Pope Francis and the Bishops. This town has a unique tradition on Sundays closing down the major roadway except to pedestrian traffic, bikes and baby carriages! On Sundays may we do the same to step from activities to contemplation of God’s goodness. For those asking a special petition, Lord hear our prayer. Keep safe all the students returning to campus as they venture into a new chapter. Peace!
