Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time-August 9, 2020
Happy Sunday! This Sunday we travel beside still waters as the Lord speaks in the silence, and gentle breeze. We ask him to help Beruit and all experiencing distress. Please stop for a time to ponder how our witness unites us in faith to one another. In the epic loss of lives during this pandemic the Lord has raised up newly ordained priests in 2020. Behind each of those priests is a people of God who also serve our living God. Together we serve a world in need. Sunday gives us the space to proclaim to God our love and hope for a unified world. In thanksgiving we ask our Prince of Peace to urge on all priests. Bless families who are moving. In these summer days may we only seek the one necessary truth, God is with us. Listen, Israel. The Lord is our God. The Lord is one. Peace!
