Sixteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time-July 19, 2020
Happy Sunday! So the garden continues to grow from seedlings and this week we hear of the mustard seed. Growing alongside the weeds is the wheat and the parable urges both to grow together. Such is diversity of crops. Also the work of conversion is ongoing so a premature weeding may not permit the extended growth. In life waiting occupies a lot of our life. Waiting with Our Lady is very different. She waited on God’s will with a grace of a trusted breeze. On this Sunday wait for the in breaking of God’s action as Israel knows well. There was a wall of water on their left and on their right as they passed thru the Red Sea. Be at peace, for our God goes before us into the vineyard of bounty! Peace!
