Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time-July 12,2020
Happy Sunday! Growing things takes time, patience, love and willingness to get in the dirt and tend the growth. This weekend we hear about planting and the Shepherd’s use of parables. In the city community gardens give those without a garden and lawn access to land to grow. We too are growing in the garden of the Lord. Sometimes it looks like not much is happening, yet the roots are growing stronger. As much as we see what is above ground, so is there the hidden roots nourishing, stretching out its roots for nourishing the entire plant in all types of weather. The small cups that may be needed at first give way as the plant grows more sturdy. Where ever you are growing in the creator’s garden, this Sunday May you know of God’s love for you. Peace!
