Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ-June...
Happy Sunday! As Catholics we believe the bread and wine consecrated by an ordained priest becomes fully the actual body and blood of Jesus Christ. It is not only a symbol, yet the real body and blood of Christ. There are documented Eucharistic miracles where actual blood and tissue appear. So, that is why we kneel before the living God, praying “Lord, I am not worthy to receive you, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed!” We thank you Lord for the gift of the Eucharist, which means ‘thanksgiving.’ This Sunday let us be grateful for the sacrifice of so many and for the true love found only in the true presence! Peace!
