Trinity Sunday-Sunday, June 7th, 2020
Happy Sunday! Trinity Sunday arrives today as a heavenly breakthrough that the unity of the Trinity orders our days. God one and three- Father, Son and Holy Spirit arrives to save humanity. Think of that for a minute in the midst of the turmoil of a pandemic and racial unrest. God speaks and his words are always truth, dignity and salvation. He is opening into our Sundays. How are we welcoming him? Can we leave the darkness to hold onto his light? Can we let ourselves, our institutions, and our world be led into a kingdom of peace? In the complexity of the Trinity there stands perpetual unity into which we live as the body of Christ.! As movement begins to flow more regularly we have all been changed in our souls. This Sunday we thank God for sparing us and ask prayers for those who are ill and have passed from the pandemic. Lord, have mercy on us and on the whole world. Peace!
