Reclaim Sunday Weekly Blog

Third Sunday of Easter- May 5, 2019
Happy Sunday! After the disciples have been out fishing all day, they return with empty nets. Jesus helps them get back to the basics and sends them back out. They return with a load of 153 fish. St. Francis and St. Clare returned to the basics of the countryside. Nature teaches us about the enduring presence of God and the fruit we will yield when we listen to his voice. He wants to feed us with the joy of life in communion with him. Stop to listen more carefully this week. Be prepared to haul in the nets for a harvest. Peace!
