Baptism of Our Lord-Sunday, January 13, 2019
Happy Sunday! How has being plunged into the life of Christ thru the waters of Baptism changed this Sunday or even our lives? What does it mean to be an adopted daughter or son of our Savior Jesus Christ? To begin with we are always accompanied in life by love, who is Jesus. When you are with your best friend how do you experience freedom? How is authenticity filled with trust? Jesus is initiating a conversation when you are ready. It does not matter how long it has been, if you have been too active for him or if you talk all the time and have not really paused to listen. He entered into the waters to join us as the mercy that washes us to new life, to purity thru him and love that binds forever. So this Sunday let us thank God and JBap for the early years, along with our Godparents. Reclaimsunday prays 2019 and the start of Ordinary Time brings Sunday into a new view for this grace to pour out upon you following Jesus, who is waiting for our 'Yes,' I will go with you. Peace!
