Epiphany Sunday- January 6th, 2019
Happy Sunday! It all started so simply. The glory of God comes in the poverty of the manger flooded with the love of Joseph for Mary and the infant Jesus, of Mary for God and of God for you. This season a local business repaired a cross for gratis. Also an elderly man returned the wallet he found on the subway to the blanched business man who sprinted back to the car looking for it. Epiphany Sunday is a light to this world's darkness. Kings and shepherds are called to approach. The family is the shelter for the prince of peace in a borrowed stable and later a borrowed tomb. Sharing on loan can be a holy act. Repairing for free is holy and returning the lost item to the owner is holy. God is in our cities. God is in the country fields. God is love, surrounding each life. God bless this New Year! Peace!
