Twenty Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time-September 30th, 201...
Happy Sunday! Sunday keeps us steered in the right direction. Sign posts and people can steer people on the right path, or wrong. During a recent local parade side street traffic was blocked and traffic duty pointing an alternative road yet it ended there. Miles of cars followed others onto dead end streets leaving the traffic to direct itself out of the gridlock. Eventually the marching bands could be heard while the thousands in autos tried to reroute in the sunlight. Coming from Mass it was a blessing knowing God was in the lead. We do benefit from directions from wisdom and spiritual guides. One appreciates this Sunday all who guide our feet into the way of peace. Even neighbors who came out of their homes to offer an indication on how to return to the open road. Signage by way of Mass and the Sacraments keeps our eyes on the light to guide us from the dark. Christ the Good Shepherd is calling our names. Call on him and he will appear without delay. Peace!
