Tenth Sunday in Ordinary Time-June 10th, 2018

Happy Sunday!

There were a couple of newsworthy people in the headlines this week following the tragedy of their lives ending by suicide.  Any such loss is terrible and education is needed to unlock the stigma of asking/receiving help for depression or related illness.  It was not until the Sunday homily that the priest commented on it... surely the loss of life happened because the man and the woman did not Actually KNOW a Christian!!  This is eye opening given prayer.  How has our life been so altered by the truth of the risen Jesus Christ that it not only saved us but gave new life to those we met??

Have we delayed in Living the message of the truth--I was lost and am found!  Let your friends know they can call anytime.  Smile more.  Sing more! Thank God for the gift of life.  Pray for souls and families impacted by suicide.

Keep the faith!

I do appreciate your way of evangelization in this year of Faith. On the day of Lord, let us do those that foster our relation with him: mass, scripture reading

Studying in Jerusalem several years ago, I was very moved by the power the Sabbath has to reclaim and rejuvenate lives of believers, a time for complete rest.
