Trinity Sunday-May 27, 2018

Happy Sunday!

The Trinity was expressed by St. Patrick in the image of the Shamrock.  Three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit in one God.  God's love is relational with us. God's closeness entered humanity with his Son, Jesus Christ.  Each day the Holy Spirit moves us forward.  The Spirit matches us to fulfillment in this life. Awaiting the arrival of a newly ordained priest to the parish is filled with hope!!! The young priest, still fresh with Chrism, bridges this earth to heaven in the sacraments.  He is eager to seek the lost.  As he rises from lying prostrate at the Ordination mass a community of all ages awaits his arrival.  Like we await the second coming of Christ.  Bless us with courage to call on Abba, Father trusting that he knows where we are every hour of every day of our lives!  May we live in communion having received the Eucharist.

Let us keep the faith!  Let us keep showing up!  There is so much more to do!

I do appreciate your way of evangelization in this year of Faith. On the day of Lord, let us do those that foster our relation with him: mass, scripture reading

Studying in Jerusalem several years ago, I was very moved by the power the Sabbath has to reclaim and rejuvenate lives of believers, a time for complete rest.
