Twenty Ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time- October 22, 2017

Happy Sunday!

This World Mission Sunday at the local mass it was shared that in Papua New Guinia the Gospel enters through dance by the faithful and is unwrapped by the celebrant with yards and yards of material.  As it was the most cherished item in their lives it was protected by being wrapped in yards of material!  Also living first was proceeded by acts of mercy then the Gospel.  Culturally it was deemed important to 'live' the Gospel as much as hearing it!  This Sunday how are we giving thanks for all that the Risen Lord is doing in our lives to free us from the world to live in union with him?  Give thanks this World Mission Sunday for all missionaries who carried the Gospel into our country and our lives!
