Twenty Eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time-October 15, 2017

Happy Sunday!

We are getting closer each day to his love.  Today is the feast of St. Teresa of Avila, Carmelite nun.

This Sunday may you fall into the arms of God as did the little shepherds did in Fatima 100 years ago when encountering the Blessed Mother.

St. Teresa wrote in 'The Way of Perfection:'

"The great thing I should like to teach you is that, in order to accustom ourselves gradually to giving our minds confidence so that we may readily understand what we are saying and with whom we are speaking, we must recollect our outward senses take charge..and give them something that will occupy them.  It is in this way that we have Heaven within ourselves since the Lord of Heaven is there.  If once we are accustomed to being glad that there is no need to raise our voices in order to speak to him since His majesty will make us conscious that he is there." P. 193

I do appreciate your way of evangelization in this year of Faith. On the day of Lord, let us do those that foster our relation with him: mass, scripture reading
