Third Week in Lent- March 19, 2017

Happy Sunday!

How would you respond to an invitation of living waters?  The woman met Christ at noon.  In the heat of the day He discerned her heart and she was opened.  There was an Encounter... a real face- to-face meeting.  This however changed the direction of her life and those who knew of their holy love.  He knew of her mistakes.  This is why He is there to begin with- even his followers belittle the fact that he is speaking to a woman!  Jesus of course is undeterred.  He is preaching by His life.  The woman was opened to His life giving word!  She receives fully and in her interior knows the truth!  Love saves.  She leaves different from the living waters of Christ to relay to others.  Have the living waters of Baptism moved us to communion and penetrating the crevacies  of our soul? Again and again He revives with the water of the Word.

Now that we have been immersed in the living waters, how have we sprung forth?  Go now for HE awaits us at the well of our deepest desires!

I do appreciate your way of evangelization in this year of Faith. On the day of Lord, let us do those that foster our relation with him: mass, scripture reading

Studying in Jerusalem several years ago, I was very moved by the power the Sabbath has to reclaim and rejuvenate lives of believers, a time for complete rest.
