Third Sunday in Ordinary Time- January 22, 2017

Happy Sunday!

Christ calls and we are invited to answer.

How is Christ calling you?

Today we heard the proclamation of Christ calling ordinary men, fishermen to a new way of life in Him.  What presented that they decided 'immediately?'

Decisiveness in Christ is one of zeal.

Their parents were likely separated and a little saddened.  Yet, Christ raises vocations in a family.  They likely saw seeds of faith before in their children.  We increase our prayers for vocations to serve the prince of peace.  We need bold, courageous, merciful, kind and holy priests. They put it all on the line for truth to free all. Now we have a path to follow.

As we pray for vocations we also pray for cherishing children who grow thru grace and love of a family.  Encourage family life!

Lord, move our hearts to drop the nets and follow you into paradise!

I do appreciate your way of evangelization in this year of Faith. On the day of Lord, let us do those that foster our relation with him: mass, scripture reading
