Second Sunday in Ordinary Time-January 15, 2017

Happy Sunday! is glad you are here!  Can you believe we are approaching our 4th anniversary of launch next month!  It is hoped that while contemplating the holiness of Sunday our lives have become more in union with Him!  It changes Monday-Saturday! Please share with friends especially those lost, hardened or without zeal!  Through Christ all things are possible.

This week Christmas season ended with the observance of the Baptism of Christ.  Gradually, decorations were taken down to place in to storage until next Christmas 2017.  As the pile grew I kept finding one here and another there.  At last!  So I thought all the touches of Christmas were down.  Then throughout the week I would continue to find  the 'touch of Christmas' on a upper shelf, on the book rack or cards in the basket.  So smiling this week's reflection was before us.  Christmas, dear readers, leaves strands in our lives having given us more  reds in life (zeal, fortitude), more glitter ( the guiding star) and gifts ( our offerings) along with the truth setting us on a new path!  While ordinary time moves us on a road of faith it is a deeper faith having learned from all the prophets from the Christmas season.  How have you found 'traces' of Christmas in your life this Sunday?  Are you expecting?  Are you planning a date with your beloved?  Have you called the seniors or better visited?  May 2017 keep Christmas in our hearts and our 'traces' of the season of incarnation remind us of the unfailing presence of God in our daily lives!  Now look again, are there any decorations we've missed?

God is with us, Emmanuel!

I do appreciate your way of evangelization in this year of Faith. On the day of Lord, let us do those that foster our relation with him: mass, scripture reading

Studying in Jerusalem several years ago, I was very moved by the power the Sabbath has to reclaim and rejuvenate lives of believers, a time for complete rest.

Sunday is the day of the Lord. Let us come to Him as a family specially on this day to celebrate him and share the joy with others present in the church
