Tenth Sunday in Ordinary Time- June 5, 2016

Happy Sunday!

Restoration and healing is seen in today's Gospel of Luke 7.  The young man on the stretcher to his funeral is immediately healed.  Fear seizes the crowd.  The dead are called to new life!  Recall the story of Lazarus.  The crowd does not want to move the stone for fear of the stench... Keep doing it our way and a miracle is denied.  Jesus invites us to follow him, walk beside him and trust in him.  Miracles change the order of our lives! Jesus is our savior who has come to bring us life!! How is Christ calling you to " Arise!?"  Do we see The Lord working his wonder in every believing heart?  Lord may we glorify your will to create in us hearts anew, hearts to love and return that love to others!

I do appreciate your way of evangelization in this year of Faith. On the day of Lord, let us do those that foster our relation with him: mass, scripture reading

Studying in Jerusalem several years ago, I was very moved by the power the Sabbath has to reclaim and rejuvenate lives of believers, a time for complete rest.
