Happy Sunday!
The day of rest offers time for reflection, praise and worship of our Lord and Savior. The priest preached on this extended season being a mixture of joy
and sorrow. They has the joy of post resurrection appearances yet would soon let go as he ascended into Heaven. So it is a Holy Day this coming As ension Thursday. Life poses many mixtures. While in a funeral procession the cars went
thru many busy intersections without one horn of disapproval sounding. When one motorcycle edged thru a loud voice raised from the ball field: " Hey, it's a funeral!!," as if the rider may not have noticed. People do aspire to a higher order especially
when they notice a group united in their processions! It was encouraging to see the goodness rise to voice this to one who hurried by. When we draw closely around the Eucharist in respect for life, people will notice. We are called to help
one another. May the days of Easter rise us to new awareness in merciful care!
Peace!
