Fifth Sunday of Easter-April 24, 2016

Happy Sunday!

Deep into the Easter Season we hearJohn's Gospel proclaimed with Jesus' words to: 'Love one another.'  Here the new covenant is summed up. In one Christian there can be challenges in living the way of truth.  For one believer it was a long road that raised questions on organized religion.  Loving, however was evident in their children, spouse and neighbors.  This was expanded in the final hours in this life.  The one request was the following:  Tell me the Easter story!'  One clariedfied: " You don't mean THE Easter story do you?"  Everyone looked with opened eyes at one another the. To the true believer.  Beyond any earthly doubts some truth was seen here desiring the ultimate desire for TRUTH, eternal truth.  Our risen Christ has risen from the dead freeing us from the darkness of death. He is our almighty savior who will return for us as we cling to the cross of salvation..  So this Sunday, Tell me the Easter story!  Or live the Easter story with your risen life to proclaim it to those far off or distant from our Lord.  Come, let us go together!

I do appreciate your way of evangelization in this year of Faith. On the day of Lord, let us do those that foster our relation with him: mass, scripture reading

Studying in Jerusalem several years ago, I was very moved by the power the Sabbath has to reclaim and rejuvenate lives of believers, a time for complete rest.
