Fifth Sunday of Lent-March 13,2016

Happy Sunday!

Next Sunday is Palm Sunday.

We may ask how our prayer, fasting and alms giving have deepened?  The faith of the 15 witnesses at the Apparition site in Knock Ireland proposes contemplation on our belief in the thin veil between mystery of mystery and the world. In August of 1879 15 townsfolk of mixed ages gathered for two hours in the rain seeing the Blessed Mother, St. Joseph and St. John the Evangelist.  On the altar off to the side was a lamb with angels hovering over them.  After two inquiries by the church it is designated one of the the official Marian Shrines.  This Sunday may God increase our faith, relinquish doubt and forgive shortcomings that we may enter into his messages of promise.
