Reclaim Sunday Weekly Blog

Fourth Week in Ordinary Time-January 31, 2016

Happy Sunday!  Happy 3 year Anniversary of Reclaim Sunday!

Three years ago this week was launched!  Thanks to your witness in support of Sunday we have met over 89,000 visit views.  We are strengthened by your witness in living the Lord's day!  For this moment a poem follows prepared for our faithful of the Lord's Day!

Reclaim Sunday

The Lord's day of resurrection

is a true reward.

From all the world's activity

He moves us Heaven toward.

In Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday here

We ponder the meaning of it all.

By Thursday, Friday, Saturday the weight

of this life does fall.

But Lo, ahead is the guard of souls

who gathers rich and poor as one.

Around the Eucharistic table

Every Sunday we meet the Son!

The cares of the rest of time,

pale to the joy of Sunday.

For we have learned together united

the divine image he created in flesh

To go to the ends of the world

that the true answer is born in a crèche!

So no matter your care, need or concern

There is always hope ahead,

For Sunday was made for us!

God comes! Our Heavenly, Life-giving bread!
