Pentecost Sunday-May 25th, 2015

Happy Pentecost Sunday!

How may our freedom as a daughter/son of Christ carry the newness of the Holy Spirit?

How deeply do we believe that all things are possible for God?

Are we side-tracked by worldly pursuits almost giving but a passing glance to our savior?

It is a contrast when the Holy Spirit arrives...the fruits of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.  A second reading of the gifts is anything but competitive.  So Christ speaks when he appears in the upper room: "Peace be with you!"  He also shows him his wounds.  At times we want proof, testing in a way the word.  But our Heavenly Father always love and rather than withdrawing his love, goes to them, manifesting his love eternal and the salvation of their souls.  Do we believe that God is present in every locked part of our hearts, and in our world?? Today is Pentecost Sunday..He is real, truly risen and awaits for us to go on mission proclaiming life without end!
