May 10th, 2015- Sixth Sunday of Easter

The Gospel of John 15:9-17 today holds out the way of love as the path of truth, friendship as the relation to embody the way to heaven.  In the USA Mother's Day is recognized today as well.  The local park was so full this morning a passerby would raise a question: Is there a special event today??  So it is with love who has bore us!  So we may ponder on any Sunday where are the crowds to bear witness to Christ, who laid down his life for us?  Rather than  hushed into oblivian, Christ prompts us to remember:  "Love one another."  Is there evidence of such transformation in our lives that we are recognized by his love, first born of Mary? May we ask God to bless women for the mothering extended to a world in need of it!

I do appreciate your way of evangelization in this year of Faith. On the day of Lord, let us do those that foster our relation with him: mass, scripture reading

Studying in Jerusalem several years ago, I was very moved by the power the Sabbath has to reclaim and rejuvenate lives of believers, a time for complete rest.
