April 19, 2015-Third Sunday of Easter

Happy Sunday!

"Let me show you the stole with St. Luke on it!", exclaimed the priest who had known a beloved physician who had recently passed. In remembrance he had received the stole in her honor.  Fitting that a physician of souls was carrying on in the way of a friend who had dedicated her life to curing and caring.  The exclamation was clear.  There is something we must see and talk about!

So it is on the way to Emmaus.  It is important to pray in relation to God and our relation to others.  Our lives will come to an end when Christ calls us home.  Meanwhile, how may heaven be shown in our lives today?  On the road to the way, truth and life we are sustained by the sacraments and the gift of one another!  May you forward to someone who may join us on the journey?

I do appreciate your way of evangelization in this year of Faith. On the day of Lord, let us do those that foster our relation with him: mass, scripture reading

Studying in Jerusalem several years ago, I was very moved by the power the Sabbath has to reclaim and rejuvenate lives of believers, a time for complete rest.
