Reclaim Sunday Weekly Blog

March 8th, 2015-Third Sunday in Lent

Happy Sunday! has been in the Holy Land for one week praying for all visitors!  The travel has made the Gospels a 3-D version!  At this one Benedictine Church on the road to Emmaus the nuns greeted us outside and asked if the pilgrims would wait 15 minutes so they could first clean prior to receiving the pilgrims!!  This Sunday we may ask are we prepared to receive Christ?  Having walked in the footsteps of Jesus we learn of the fitness of his followers to endure extended journeys on foot, yet his church is , as the guide taught, a " free clinic." He came to save souls.  All souls.  Check out posts on this site on the Holy Land tab.  How has this Sunday provided care for the gift of our bodies in order to serve God and those he sends our way? Peace!

I do appreciate your way of evangelization in this year of Faith. On the day of Lord, let us do those that foster our relation with him: mass, scripture reading

Studying in Jerusalem several years ago, I was very moved by the power the Sabbath has to reclaim and rejuvenate lives of believers, a time for complete rest.

Sunday is the most precious day of the week, time for reflection, Mass, family, and often religious studies, reflection, writing and ministry.
