January 25, 2015-Third Sunday in Ordinary Time

Happy Sunday!

How has the resurrection of our Lord changed your life?

When others approach us as Catholics, as Christians do they see the light of Christ?

A parent has learned of the diagnosis of cancer.

A neighborhood awakens to news of violence on their streets the night before.

A family has fled civil unrest and arrived in a new country.

A child wants to make a friend in their new school, but bullying occurs instead.

A grieving widow tries to understand the will of God at the loss of a beloved spouse.

A military family has just learned of another deployment.

The needs are great, the laborers few.

This Sunday we ask the harvest master to  prepare us more fully to do our part whether lay woman or man, married or single, ordained or religious.

Place a word of truth upon our lips so we may speak of the glory of God, risen and with us at all times!

This Sunday, place us under the banner of Jesus Christ for all we meet!
