January, 18th, 2015- Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

Happy Sunday!

This week we pray in a special way for the protection of life.  How is this Sunday offering space to witness to life, to healing, to new direction closer to the Good Shepherd?  Some may take a walk for exercise to care for the body, others are preparing for the March in Washington, D.C. Or some may attend Mass or Holy Hour for Life.  We pray for the conviction to teach clearly the fullness of the truth, in love.  God seeks us out to carry us home.

May men protect those they gather from injustice and women herald the clarion call on the beauty of motherhood for the preservation of a future.  May matrimony between a man and a woman breathe life into the communities in which they love, for love is of God.
