Happy Sunday!
The lovely Gospel of John 4 proclaimed today places our savior in the close company of the Samaritan woman. As he reveals truth, she leaves her water jar a seemingly important tool to gather water for quenching thirst. She
in turns carries the word of life to others unencumbered by a weighty load. So we encounter on Sundays the bread of life! On the daily Lenten reflection Fr. Robert Barron referred to Sunday as the day of victory.
How we all need Christ's
victory over darkness and fear. This Sunday there are those facing health challenges, lack of faith and doubts of all kinds and yet, Christ is in it all calling us, "I am he, the one speaking with you." How does this resounding voice of sincere
truth turn us this Sunday??
If you have a moment go again to look at your Baptismal certificate. Recall the day you were made new in Christ who breaks down any barriers that keep you from true happiness. Thank God for your parents
and God parents who stepped out in faith. If you cannot locate the certificate call the church of your baptism. If you are yet to be baptized contact your local Catholic Church where they may speak to you personally About the way, the truth and
the life!
Peace!
