Sunday, January 26th, 2014-Third Sunday in Ordinary Time

Happy Sunday!

A sunbeam shines through the morning sky and we are reminded of the light of Jesus Christ, the light of our salvation!  On any given Sunday a person may stroll without a more mature understanding of how that same outing may be offered in prayerful union for various world wide petitions.  In the US this week thousands united to stand for life, for healing and for a reminder of the heavenly kingdom here on earth.  Gatherings were held to pray for Christian Unity- reading aloud the names of a few Christians and the halting circumstances of the end of life in support of the Gospel.  This Sunday as we listen to Matthew's Gospel, chapter 4 when Jesus urges for believers to "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." , may we remember all courageous acts of witness for the Gospel.  This Sunday let us unite thanking God for our faith and for all those who have given their lives as a testimony to the gift of life, enduring forgiveness and a light on the road to heaven.

I do appreciate your way of evangelization in this year of Faith. On the day of Lord, let us do those that foster our relation with him: mass, scripture reading
