Reclaim Sunday Weekly Blog

April 7, 2013-Divine Mercy Sunday

This Sunday, as each Sunday, is an opportunity to reacquaint ourselves with the treasures of the Catholic Faith.  On Divine Mercy Sunday we are invited to receive grace from God and heal from all that is keeping us from God's Love.  What will help us to reach out to the Church?  How may this Sunday strengthen your decision to 'see' the rest and covenant God extends to you? Even Doubting Thomas had his community surrounding him as he grappled with the merciful, risen Savior, Jesus.  We are encouraged to come with our questions, come with our shortcomings, and come with any incompleteness.  Christ is the answer.

Today, try to make time to spend with Christ.  Mercy is his own and for his own.

To Reclaim Sunday, a few changes are needed to shift our attention from constant activity to things of God and Heaven. How are you attempting to Reclaim Sunday?  Imagine how this movement is fortified through a community of prayer!
