Happy Sunday!
As Catholics we continue to celebrate the Easter season. It can be a challenge to be celebrating while the global pandemic has claimed thousands of lives, yet, we sing the tomb is empty and Christ has risen from the dead! When we recite the Apostle’s Creed we begin-“I believe in God,’so with this truth we are bound to eternal love. Do we truly know undivided love? Have we had fear squelched by comfort? Have we had our wounds bandaged and a whisper come say ‘You are mine. I will care for you.’ Has a hand been extended to you to communicate- Here I am. Come be with me.’ Sunday is a time to praise the Lord. Last week the first apparition at Fatima was celebrated. This image is one spot where the Blessed Mother appeared to the three shepherd children: St. Jacinta, St. Francisco and Lucia. While the world cries out-More! More!, these 3 simple souls knelt in the mountains to receive a message from Heaven. Belief will set souls apart. May we pray for one another thanking God for our faith. May Mary intercede to her son for our most cherished petitions.
Peace!
