Happy Sunday!
This fourth Sunday of Easter has us under the watchful care of Jesus our good shepherd. He is the one who will leave the 99 in the flock to seek the lost sheep. People are a little lost in the swirl of the pandemic. Inundated with new circumstances and facts of the deceased, Christ’s resurrection is our banner this 4th Sunday of Easter. Jesus has come to SAVE. Nothing lies outside of God’s time. He never forgets us or our footing. This Sunday may we utter the sacred name of Jesus, our good shepherd. No storm, no wind, no night or turbulence may shake his love for us! Love has been bestowed and to this we say, I am yours alone. If you have strayed, have no fear. Our priests may receive you in the sacrament of confession for they act in Christ. Are you considering a vocation to extend the care of the good shepherd? We are praying for you! Are you already serving the kingdom? We are offering prayers of thanksgiving! Are you lost and do not know the way? Welcome home! Let this Sunday open us ever more to the eternal loving gaze of Jesus Christ who will shepherd us home.
Peace!
