Happy Sunday!
While walking in the city a man sat on the corner with one eye closed and oozing and wetness all around his seat. He asked for $10 so he could eat and have
a water.
Here is a narrow gate we hear of in the Gospel.
He still had hope, as he asked for help!
Asking his name, what followed
was the name of an archangel.
How special he must have been to his parents on the day he was born and placed under the vigilance of a heavenly messenger.
Somehow it was
this person believing someone would hear and believe that prompted the offering. Fasting afterward, it was prayed that he enjoyed a hot meal and some water.
Lord, help us to believe in what St. Teresa of Avila
wrote: God alone suffices. Help us to pass thru the narrow gate.
Peace!
