Happy Sunday!
Today the Gospel teaches us the providence of God bestowed by the generosity of a boy with 5 loaves and 2 fish. Jesus went on to feed the multitude and the fragments fed thousands.
After the unsettling news from Washington D. C. this week we are reminded no one is immune to sin, even a shepherd. Those injured have been a voice. Those pastoring into healing have not left the flock. It has meant more prayer.
While we are in Ordinary Time, a picture from Christmas Season reminds us our savior lay in a manger as he is the food to satisfy all hungers. How can a baby feed the crowd? The same way Jesus fed the multitudes- on the will of the Heavenly Father who dwells with us here. Today. Now. Shh. Can we hear?
A light shines thru the darkness! Every Sunday we are invited to behold the lamb of God! May our prayers for the church be heard.
Blessed the little offerings that yield great miracles thru our God of Mercy!
Peace!
