Happy Sunday!
Seeing beauty is part of Sunday. There is evidence of God's creation all around. This weekend we hear from Jerimiah of the new covenant of God, who forgives and remembers our sin no more.
Such mercy changes our interior life.
While walking the city street there was a young person sitting cross legged with a tattered cup for charity. Once forgiven it is easier to recognize oppression. Whose brother or sister was this alone on the cold pavement. Adding something for food in the cup does not seem to erase the being of this beloved child of God.
Next weekend we enter into Palm Sunday. We pray for the grace of Sunday to flow into our week preparing us for the passion. We trust that when there are moments of separation that by generosity we come to experience the kingdom of God with the clean heart given to us by our loving father. May your Sunday be filled with beauty and compassion for someone who needs a word of hope from the Gospel!
Peace!
