Happy Sunday!
Will today be of significance to you for The Lord? After hearing news of global conflict, the preparation of World Day and the political conventions there
are many prayer petitions. The gospel again places before us the prayer of the Our Father.' In Israel we had visited Pater Nostra where the prayer is to have originated. On the outside tiles the prayer was written in multiple languages. Many
learn the prayer at a young age. As we 'dare' to call Our Father to hear us, we do so as having been taught by Christ. One youth prayer the prayer in Italian, another in Spanish and others in English and the guide prayer in Aremaeic, Jesus'
prayer. In the still of each day may we begin once more to pray, with loving intention, 'Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.' "Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against
us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen"
Lord, bless those hungering for your kingdom of truth and forgiveness."
Peace!
