Happy Sunday!
As we stand under the standard of Christ we acknowledge his all encompassing protection, who sees all and will render justice. As we prepare to give thanks this week in America, as Christians it is a daily practice. We
are in the time of remembrance this month. When a veteran is buried soldiers stand graveside to play taps and fire a salute. It is moving that decades past the front line brothers and sisters appear to demonstrate the lasting solidarity.
This Thanksgiving we remember our blessings and those who have given their lives to uphold their true identity as a son or daughter in Christ.
Postage stamps are now on sale for Christmas. Having the Charlie Brown option pointed out as the
'favorite' this year, the Christian asked No thank you, may you have the Madonna and Child stamp and The Magi stamps?" The clerk mentioned: "It must remind you of when you were a child." The Christian responded, "No, thank you. It is
who I live for now!"
Many opportunities will present for us to witness to the truth to Christ's saving power in our lives! What may you say this coming Advent?
Happy Thanksgiving to all reclaimsunday.net readers!
Peace!
