Reclaim Sunday Weekly Blog

February 8th, 2015-Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Happy Sunday!

Reclaimsunday.net is preparing for prayer in the Holy Land!  Our faith, however is accessible to everyone with the Holy sites alive in the Scriptures.  Today we heard in the Gospel how Jesus cured, prayed and preached.  Circumstances can change without notice.  Such was the story of a young father found to have cancer.  In 'Six Months to Live,' the writer chronicles his plunge into a cure in the form of prayer, pilgrimage and medical care. This brings us to consider how Jesus was near to the suffering of humanity.  He did not deny the large numbers seeking him out for the one hope of their lives. He cured in the midst of great faith in a poor people.  What lengths have we sought healing?  Forgiveness?  Reunification?  Has it been proposed that in Christ anything is possible?  Our time is passing.  Do we witness to the inexplicable at the hand of God?  Lent begins on Ash Wednesday February 18th.  Reclaim Sunday will pray for all visitors as we journey with the divine physician, Jesus Christ!

Peace!
