Reclaim Sunday Weekly Blog

April 6th, 2014-Fifth Sunday of Lent

Happy Sunday!

Are we prepared to see the glory of God?  Truly, are we able to conceive of the reversals of the hand of God?  When was the last time you were breathless?  Can we relate to Lazarus emerging from a tomb called forth by the voice of Jesus into the fullness the light to the dismay of those nearby?  Are we able to be near one who needs bandages removed as we listen to the command of Christ to 'Untie him and let him go.'  Next week is Palm Sunday.  Breathless, we stand in awe as we step into the light squinting at the glory of God's reign he came to raise us from our sins.

Read Pope Francis' Angelus from today calling us to ' rediscover the courage of our original faces' knowing there is 'no limit to the divine mercy.'
